Marketing management in international practice

What makes a global brand truly relevant in a local market? How can understanding consumers, their culture, habits and everyday realities contribute to successful marketing decisions?

On October 8, 2026, the Keleti Károly Faculty of Business and Management of Óbuda University welcomes Sara Palcso, National Trade Marketing Manager at HEINEKEN, for a guest lecture entitled “Global Brands. Local Realities.”

During the lecture, participants will gain practical insights into marketing management in an international business environment and discover how global strategies can be successfully adapted to local markets. Drawing on her professional experience, Sara Palcso will explore how a deeper understanding of consumers and their cultural and everyday realities can be transformed into relevant brands and sustainable, profitable growth.

The event provides an excellent opportunity for students to complement their academic knowledge with real-world industry experience and learn directly from an experienced marketing professional working for one of the world’s leading international brands.
