Purpose and Scope
The Faculty’s Advisory Team for International Students provides coordinated administrative and academic support while developing an effective mentoring system within the Keleti Károly Faculty of Business and Management. The programme is designed to support our culturally diverse cohort of international students in integrating into the academic community and to ensure that they receive consistent guidance throughout their university journey. Our aim is to foster an environment that moves beyond diversity alone, and which actively advances equity, meaningful inclusion, and a genuine sense of belonging for all members of the Faculty’s international community.
Key Areas of Support
- Administrative guidance: Assistance with administrative matters throughout students’ studies.
- Academic mentoring: Regular consultations and information sessions led by Faculty lecturers.
- Peer support: Peer-to-peer mentoring that helps students build connections and navigate university life.
- Alumni engagement: Recurring events that connect current students with the Faculty’s international alumni.
- Listening to International Students’ Needs: We are committed to ensuring that students’ needs, ideas, and concerns are heard and taken into consideration at the Faculty. Students are warmly encouraged to share their feedback, recommendations, and suggestions for Faculty events or other initiatives with the Faculty’s Academic Advisor, Dr. Zsuzsanna Balázs.
Academic Milestones and Information Sessions
Students can receive guidance on key academic milestones, including:
- the thesis process and thesis-related work;
- the Scientific Students’ Conference (TDK);
- the Final Exam and Thesis Defense;
- extra-curricular academic activities (conferences, professional events).
Dedicated information sessions clarify requirements, explain procedures, and help students prepare confidently for these important stages.
Overall Aim
Together, these initiatives aim to create a more active, supportive, inclusive, and engaging experience for international students at the Faculty.
