The 8th ICONST and the 8th ICONSR International Scientific Conferences Successfully Held

Between May 28–30, 2025, the Keleti Károly Faculty of Business and Management at Óbuda University hosted two prominent scientific events – the 8th International Conference on Science and Technology (ICONST) and the 8th International Conference on Natural Science and Engineering Research (ICONSR). These conferences provided an excellent opportunity for both domestic and international researchers to present their latest scientific findings, establish new professional connections, and deepen interdisciplinary collaborations.

More than 100 presentations were delivered at the conferences, covering a wide range of topics: from computer science and artificial intelligence, through electrical and mechanical engineering solutions, to issues of environmental sustainability, biotechnology, health sciences, and energy innovations. The scientific sessions were enriched by engaging debates, professional discussions, and practice-oriented presentations.

The ceremonial opening of the event was attended by Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács, Rector of Óbuda University, who in his speech emphasized the importance of international conferences and partnerships in advancing scientific progress and promoting global collaboration. He highlighted that such events are not only about sharing knowledge, but also contribute to strengthening the social role of science. He particularly underlined the significance of Turkish–Hungarian scientific cooperation and the opportunities inherent in joint research and educational initiatives.

It was a great honor for us that Gülşen Karanis Ekşioğlu, Ambassador of Turkey to Hungary, also attended the event.

The section sessions, poster presentations, and panel discussions held during the conferences brought many new ideas and scientific impulses to the participants.

We hope that these three days provided a meaningful, inspiring, and networking-rich experience for all attendees.

The 2025 MEB Conference Successfully Held at Óbuda University

The Keleti Károly Faculty of Business and Management at Óbuda University once again organized the Management, Enterprise and Benchmarking (MEB) international scientific conference, which took place on April 4, 2025, in Budapest.

The aim of this year’s conference was, once again, to provide a platform for Hungarian and international experts conducting research in the fields of economics and management to engage in scientific dialogue. More than 70 participants shared their research findings on topics such as the impact of digitalization on corporate governance, sustainable economic development, data-driven decision-making, and many others.

Renowned speakers from Hungary and abroad delivered plenary lectures, and several exciting presentations and professional discussions took place in parallel sessions. A special highlight of the event was the active participation of young researchers, who enriched the program with fresh perspectives and innovative topics.

The full program and list of presentations are available on the official conference website:

Throughout the week, participants had the opportunity to attend engaging lectures and workshops delivered by guest speakers from various countries. These sessions offered valuable insights into different higher education systems, business environments, and cultural contexts. The event provided an excellent platform for knowledge exchange and networking, enriching attendees both professionally and personally.
