This year, the 10th International Conference on Lifelong Education and Leadership for All (ICLEL) was held. The event took place at the Keleti Károly Faculty of Economics of Óbuda University from July 9-11. The conference was chaired by three renowned experts: Prof. Dr. Osman Titrek, Prof. Dr. Carlos Sousa de Reis, and Dr. habil. Mónika Garai-Fodor, the dean of our faculty.
At the opening ceremony of the three-day event, in addition to the conference leaders, Prof. Dr. László Gulácsi, Vice-Rector, also gave a speech. The opening speeches emphasized the importance of lifelong learning and education, the necessity of continuous development of knowledge and skills, and the international significance of the conference. Prof. Dr. Osman Titrek highlighted that the goal of ICLEL is to connect the global educational community, share best practices, and seek innovative solutions.
The conference’s rich program offered participants the opportunity to attend inspiring lectures and professional discussions. The event covered many important and current topics, including:

In addition to the professional programs, the event was complemented by various cultural and social activities. The gala dinner held at the end of the first day provided a special experience for the guests. Participants were introduced to Hungarian folk dance traditions and listened to a performance by the university choir. The gala dinner not only showcased Hungarian culture but also strengthened the connections among the participants.
At the close of the conference, participants took part in a sightseeing tour, guided through Budapest’s most beautiful locations. This experience allowed visitors to gain a deeper understanding of the cultural and historical heritage of the Hungarian capital.
Once again, the ICLEL conference successfully connected educational professionals, researchers, and leaders from different parts of the world, who shared their experiences and perspectives. The event proved its outstanding role in the field of lifelong education and leadership, contributing to the enrichment of participants with new ideas and methods.
